Miwa has trained in and performed traditional Japanese string music since she was a child. She holds a teaching certification from the Somei Ongakukai in Tokyo, Japan.

Silk Harmony performances can be booked for short sessions up to 30 minutes, or by the hour (with 15 minute break.) The music works perfectly as background music for social events, or for educational, interactive sessions related to Japanese traditional music and culture. The sessions are performed in authentic silk kimono.
